My MoMA MOOC, Take 2

I loved the Art & Inquiry course offered by MoMA on Coursera so much that I signed up for another MoMA MOOC. I recently finished Art & Activity, and found it just as inspiring and engaging. This time around, I focused on working with secondary students in my projects to reflect my new role as a high school library media specialist. The slide show below features my vision of a collaborative lesson that has students engaging visual literacy skills and close looking at artwork to reinforce what they have learned in world history class about Post WWI German society. I hope that this type of lesson would also inspire students to further investigate and question what they have learned, to look at interwar Germany from different perspectives, and to reflect on their own interpretations of the artwork presented.
